Next to the amazing Shinkansen Bullet trains this could be our next favourite thing in Japan. Takyubin luggage forward. What a service that is very helpful for travellers coming to Japan. Known as Ta-q-bin it could be your new best friend when you next come for a ski holiday to Nozawa.

Having lugged a big ski bag around the world I know those things can weigh more than a dead body. There is no better feeling than being able to hand it over when you get off the plane and send it all the way to your final destination without having to drag it through Tokyo station! You can send any type of luggage directly from Narita or Haneda airport to Nozawa Onsen for as little as 1500 Yen and a snowboard bag will be around 3500 Yen. Most times it will arrive the next day but please check with the counter staff at the time. The counters are just outside the customs halls on arrival. For pick up when sending luggage back from Nozawa to the airport please check your departing Terminal and location of the black cat office.

Watch out for the black cat symbol. We can always help you arrange luggage transfer back to the airport. Just ask one of our staff for assistance.

Luggage must be sent at least 48 hours prior to the flight.
