Booking terms and conditions

Thank you for booking your next holiday with us here in Nozawa Onsen. Once you receive your booking form from us please check all the details in regard to your dates, number of guests, room type and room rate plus any extra services you requested. Please let us know of any changes if need be. Bookings are valid once your deposit has been received and you agree to our booking terms and conditions.

Deposit and payments

Bank Transfers inside JAPAN

Accommodation bookings are in Japanese Yen. We ask for a 20% deposit which is not refundable. Full payment of your booked package until 30 days prior to arrival

Payments can be made via bank transfer to our Japanese account if you live in Japan. For Australian customers, we offer the option of paying in AUD into our Australian Bank account. See details below. Any bank charges are to be paid by the person making the booking. International bank transfers including a SWIFT Code coming from a foreign bank are usually complicated and not possible. For international transfers, you can use wise.com (formerly called transferwise.com) which uses a Japanese middle bank so it is accepted as a Japanese transfer into our account.

Please write your full name or booking reference when making payment and ensure to write our Name in the right order including our Bank Code and Branch

Credit Card payments

Quick and easy. Credit Card payments are possible via a secure payment link. (3.5% surcharge). All major Credit Cards are accepted and we will send you a secure online payment link for your deposit or accommodation total.


Bank Transfers to our Australian Account

For all our Australian customers we can offer a direct bank transfer into our Australian bank account in Australian Dollars. You can pay easily and simply with the exchange rate of the day and avoid costly Credit Card and bank fees from your personal Australian bank account.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations are no fun for anyone and affect our business greatly. By paying your deposit you agree to the terms of our cancellation policy.

To confirm your booking we ask for a 20% deposit which is not refundable under any circumstances. For overseas travellers we strongly recommend international travel insurance.

- 180 days prior to your arrival date you can change dates free of charge to a future date and we transfer your paid deposit to the new reservation. No further charges apply. Changes subject to availability.

- Full and part cancellations of your reservation 180 days and less to your arrival date incur 100% cancellation fee of the paid deposit and 50% of your total accommodation total unless we can refill your booked dates with another booking.

- Final payment and the full reservation amount we ask 120 days prior to your arrival day. Part and Full Cancellations 120 days prior to arrival date are not possible and a 100% cancellation fee occurs in an event of not being able to make the trip.

We strongly advise guests to have travel insurance cover to protect themselves against unexpected changes to their travel plans and in the case of any injuries, natural disasters and cancelled flights.
