All our products are hand-made with fresh, local ingredients. Come and visit us during the day in our cafe for freshly baked goods or in the evening for our Italian-style pizzas!

Convenience without the hustle.

Akari House is located less than a minutes from the Nakao Onsen offering a traditional Japanese hot spring bath. It's also a short 5 minute walk to the chairlift and 10 minutes to the town centre for bars and restaurants.

You can get to us from Tokyo by getting a Shinkansen to Iiyama then a bus to Nozawa Onsen getting off at the Nakao bus stop. Walk up the hill at the 4 way intersection near the pedestrian crossing, take the first left and Akari House is on the right at the next intersection.
